Itinerary

Cappadocia

Day 1 : Arrive at Kayseri Airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 2 : Discover the surreal landscape of Cappadocia. Visit troglodyte dwellings, the fairy chimneys and valleys. First visit Dervent and Pasabag Valleys where you will enjoy the strange lunar landscape of Cappadocia region, Zelve and Goreme Open air Museums where you will enjoy the fantastic rock churches and beautiful frescos from various centuries decorating the walls. After lunch in a traditianal Capadocian restaurant visit Avanos town which is famous with tile and pottery workshops and Uchisar rock castle the ancient fortress of Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 3 : Visit Derinkuyu underground city which is the largest of all others, hike in Ihlara Canyon for 4 kms following the Melendiz river visiting 11th century Rock churches. After having lunch in Belisirma village drive to visit Selime Monastery and Agzikarahan Caravanserai , very well preserved monument from 13th century . Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 4 : Hike in the Red valley for two hours and visit Ortahisar village. Drive to visit Mustafapasa town famous with well preserved Greek houses. After having lunch in a village house where you will taste the local Cappadocian food, drive to Soganli village and visit rock cut churches. Next we visit Taskinpasa mosque from 13th cent and Keslik monastery in the afternoon. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 5 : Transfer to Kayseri airport.
